Michoacán, primer estado con mayor reducción de pobreza en los últimos 2 años: Silvano
Morelia, Michoacán a 5 de agosto de 2019.- El reflejo de un trabajo permanente y conjunto con sectores estratégicos, han permitido reducir la pobreza hasta en 9 por ciento entre las y los michoacanos, de acuerdo a un estudio del Consejo Nacional de Evaluación de la Política de Desarrollo Social (Coneval), dado a conocer este lunes por el Gobernador Silvano Aureoles Conejo.
“Somos el primer estado de la República que más ha disminuido la pobreza en dos años; eso me llena de orgullo y satisfacción, porque de acuerdo a información de Coneval, del 2016 al 2018 pasamos de 55.3 por ciento a 46 por ciento”, indicó Aureoles Conejo.
El mandatario informó que, en el caso de la pobreza extrema, este estudio también reflejó datos alentadores para Michoacán, ya que señala que en los mismos dos años, el estado pasó de un índice del 9.4 por ciento, a sólo el 6.1 por ciento de la población en esta condición.
“Estos resultados son el reflejo de un trabajo permanente y dirigido a propósitos centrales”, acotó el Gobernador, durante su tradicional charla que sostiene los lunes con los medios de comunicación.
Además, puntualizó que de continuar esta suma de esfuerzos con todos los sectores, priorizando temas trascendentales como el campo, la inversión y otros, pronto se podrá reducir aún más el número de pobreza extrema, incluso llegar al 3 por ciento.
“Con ello podremos estarnos posicionando como referente nacional en resultados de una política pública bien dirigida a combatir la pobreza y detonar el desarrollo”, destacó.
Aureoles Conejo celebró que una institución de carácter autónomo como el Coneval, de a conocer dichas cifras, ya que garantizan la confiabilidad del estudio, el cual refleja los resultados positivos del trabajo realizado en favor de las y los michoacanos, en la búsqueda de mejorar su calidad de vida.
