AQUILA, Mich., 19 de septiembre de 2021.- Este fin de semana, se informa que los integrantes del Comisariado de Bienes Comunales del pueblo nahua de Coire encabezado por Celerino Álvarez Mauricio, a través de un escrito, solicitaron a la empresa minera Ternium una reunión “para entablar relaciones de dialogo, amistad y diplomáticas”.
Conforme al ocurso de fecha 5 de septiembre dirigido a Rogelio Omaña, gerente de Recursos Humanos, Desarrollo Social y Relaciones con la Comunidad en Ternium Minas de México, la reunión solicitada tiene el propósito de realizar una agenda de trabajo para proyectos futuros en favor del desarrollo de esta Comunidad Indígena Nahua y de la empresa minera.
Se dio a conocer que Ternium hace ya varios años inició exploraciones mineras en territorio de la comunidad indígena, pero las suspendió, y el objetivo del nuevo comisariado comunal es el revisar junto con la empresa la posibilidad de que, previo acuerdo, la empresa minera vuelva a explorar con miras a con el apoyo de la comunidad indígena explotar la mina de Coire y así crear economía local y regional, empleos y desarrollo social.
