Las Zonas Económicas Especiales (ZEE), proyecto que el gobierno de Enrique Peña Nieto buscó potencializar el sur del país, será replanteado por la actual administración, por no considerarse un programa prioritario, al menos no bajo los lineamientos que lo enmarcan.
“Las zonas económicas es algo que no ha venido operando, nos vamos a ir moviendo poco a poco a otro modelo (…) o vamos a buscar mecanismos de desarrollo diferentes”, dijo el subsecretario de Hacienda, Arturo Herrera, en el marco del evento de inclusión financiera del Banco Santander.
Este megaproyecto incluye siete regiones. Lázaro Cárdenas, Coatzacoalcos y Puerto Chiapas ya están decretadas; Salina Cruz y Progreso tienen un dictamen aprobado, y Campeche y Tabasco cuentan con dictamen en proceso de aprobación.
Rafael Marín Mollinedo, titular de la Zonas Económicas Especiales de la SHCP, dijo que se definirá en dos meses.
“Actualmente se está analizando y se definirá en dos meses. Depende del análisis de los incentivos fiscales. Está bien el proyecto de ZEE, pero sentimos y principalmente la SHCP, que la decisión de política de ingresos está pulverizado el ingreso.
“Hay expertos que nos han venido a hablar de las ZEE, Banco Mundial, BID que está bien que establezca una ZEE, dos máximo, pero ya siete. Pulverizado porque hay empresas aquí y allá y no se concentra, lo que se tiene que hacer es desarrollar completamente una zona como será el Istmo de Tehuantepec”, dijo.
