Este lunes por la mañana, los plataneros amanecieron contentos al evaluar los cinco días de lucha en la defensa del precio del plátano, destacando que conseguir el precio justo propuesto, al momento también se logró detener la tendencia a la baja que promovían comercializadores coludidos para especular con el costo de la fruta; además se obtuvo una buena participación de productores que organizados por ejidos han apoyado el movimiento; y de manera importante se hizo énfasis en que se materializó la unión de las dos asociaciones plataneras en esta manifestación pacífica.
Ya encaminados, se anunció que seguirá la movilización social por la defensa del precio del plátano, indicando que sigue la escasez de fruta en grado de corte y que hay una gran demanda de la misma, por lo que no descartan se presente de manera natural una tenencia a la alza en el precio en beneficio de los productores.
Finalmente, se invitó a todos los productores del Pacífico Centro a no malbaratar la fruta y a defender el precio justo del plátano, mismo que en este lunes es considerado como mínimo para la variedad enano gigante de 3 pesos el kilo libre al productor empacado en caja de madera.
